Yes. In many cases, insurance plans will fully or partially cover the cost of medical supply rentals. However, the extent to which your equipment rental is covered will be determined by your policy and equipment rental itself. If you need assistance determining whether your equipment rental will be covered by insurance, stop by our Provo store location or call us today.
Alpine Home Medical offers several options for those who do not have insurance to cover their medical equipment. With variable payment plans and highly competitive product pricing, we do our best to ensure our equipment is as accessible as possible. If you or a loved one have questions concerning payment options, please feel free to contact us.
Getting reimbursed by your insurance when buying or renting medical equipment from Alpine is simple. A healthcare provider must identify the equipment as medically necessary and confirm it’s required to help treat your condition, at which point insurance will step in to cover the equipment. If it’s not automatically covered, you can file a claim with your insurance to get reimbursed for your medical equipment. The amount for which you’ll be reimbursed will depend on your policy, but if you have additional questions about getting reimbursed, please call us today.
You can use your rental until the end of the contracted timeframe. At that point, you can extend the agreement by contacting our Provo location, or you can return the equipment to our store. Alpine Home Medical will work with you to ensure you have access to your equipment as long as necessary, but please note that failure to return your rental on time may result in a late charge.
